91st Street (Yeah, I'm Late)

I am glad I manage to get Spidey to convey how surprised he is to see an update on SKOOKUM! (you gotta go to the blog in order to see the picture!) Yes, I am terribly late for this update, needless to say, college's responsible, but I shall not dwell on that any longer. The fact remains, better late than never. Heh.

In case you're wondering what's all these numbered streets is about, I have decided to title every update from now on after a street in Manhattan, New York, starting from 90th Street and so on, as a dedication to the city, which lost the Olympic bid for 2012... but that doesn't make it a less remarkable city. Hope this translates across well.

Well then, this is the confession page. We all have one time or the other, confessed our feelings to the one we love or like, the moment when the words spill out can be extremely tense and uncomfortable. When the words finally come out, waiting for the response is even more excruciating, for what comes after is the truly decisive moment that dictates whether we will get the happiness we sought. There is a lot of stake in one single confession, because we do have a lot to lose if anything doesn't work out.

Now that Yoruki has confessed to Chiriko, a lot of things will be thrown off balance. Will Joan give up on Yoruki or will she continue to contest with Chiriko over Yoruki. The greater problem is that Chiriko has NEVER explicitly shown that she likes Yoruki at all. How will she react in front of her friends? We must consider that like most confessions, a lot of people's feelings and expectations are at stake. In fact, people usually don't end up as good friends once a confession is made and refused. This cirumstance do remind me a little of my own confession, and as you all have guessed, it didn't end well....
