WE'VE JUST BEEN HACKED!

We've just been hacked by Indonesian Hackers. Why? I don't know why, but Hackers, no matter where they are from are nothing more than stinking vermin whose only end is EXTERMINATION. They exist to get exterminated.

SKOOKUM! will be back up, really soon!

109th Street. On Thinking....

One of the answers offered by philosophers on why the world is so whacked up, lies in the fact that people do NOT THINK LONG ENOUGH about things. If people were to stop and really, really examine every aspect of their actions and their thoughts, we probably won't need to spend so much on weapons of mass destruction any more. Think about it - would anyone be alive if ALL of the weapons of mass destruction go off at once?

Yet, people think philosophy is all about making things harder than they really are. Yes, I don't deny that; having not done very well for philosophy at college, but thinking back, we can't all be philosophers. Philosophy, I must admit reveals itself to those who is somehow meant to do philosophy; for people who somehow understand the complex mechanics of it. Not every one is granted that access. Fundmamentally however, I suggest that all philosophy is about thoughts, it is all about thinking and re-thinking about the world today. No, we cannot survive if all we do is sit and think and not do an ounce of work. I don't think philosohy is encouraging suicide, but it wants us to be more aware about the choices we make. Being able to see a problem is half the battle won; solving the problem is full victory. People in order to 'win' need to see that there's a problem in the first place.

Even if thinking can't help us solve everything, it can help us solve the problem of being too reckless in things. Recklessness kills rationality and results in tons of problems and troubles one can easily avoid, which is made unavoidable 'cause one doesn't think one's actions through long enough.

Me? I think, I think too much sometimes.
